Knights of Columbus

Learn how State Deputy's, District and Council Officers collaborate with local associations to organize various levels of shot challenge events.

REGISTERING AN ASSOCIATION

Registration is fast, easy and completely free.

Be sure to officially register your association before scheduling your in house challenge event.

Once registered, we may connect your association with a local Knights of Columbus council to assist with judging and volunteering.  If none are available, we will provide your association the proper tools to conduct your event independently.

SCHEDULING A SHOT CHALLENGE

Once your association has been approved, your next step is to organize a shot challenge within your association based on the challenge deadlines.

Develop your finalist challengers to prepare for the season ending Hockey Challenge Championship Finals.

The 2026 Championships will be held

March 27th & 28th at the Scheels Arena located in Fargo, North Dakota.

HOSTING YOUR SHOT CHALLENGE

Local association challenge events are designed to be quick and easy yet offer a uniquely competitive program that gets your players practicing premium shot accuracy on goals.

Inform players and parents weeks ahead of the event so they can practice and prepare for the competition.

Expected time for association level challenges are roughly one hour per every 50-60 challengers per station.  We recommend no more than two shot stations per half rink.

Male and female athletes ages of 10-14 are invited to compete.  All challengers may need to prove date of birth to qualify for consecutive round challenge events.

Printables

Use ONLY the official Knights of Columbus Score Sheet for your event.
